Nearly all of my work features woodland creatures riding bicycles through mysterious landscapes. The bicycle, being an emblem for freedom and adventure, is the perfect vehicle to transport characters through surrealistic landscapes and situations. I hand build my pots with slab built walls and darted edges made from warm earthenware to create soft, playful forms. Each pot is a potential place to hold strange narratives that are reminiscent of children’s book pages.
